Hi! I just want to share what has happened to me these past two months that have flown by. It's been a while since I updated my blog.
Well, I was so glad that I am enrolling in my school this September. I don't have any money for tuition, but I still believe God brought me to this school and He will provide what I need. He has thus far, and I know he knows my every need.
There are a lot of things that I want to share about my life, especially regarding being a single mom. My daughter and I bought a recipe book, and we both love to bake cookies in our bonding time. God is so great for every situation in my life. There are many times when I experience trials, especially about finances, but I always trust God and wait for his will. I know that He is the one who provides.
With regards to our ministries, we are praying to have a scholarship program for the kids who are not attending school because of lack of money. We are planning to support one of our students in daycare named Princess, because she is already 6 years old and she is ready to go to school. Also, Babbes is one of the kids in our "Batang Krayola" children's activities and feeding program. She is not attending school because her parents have no money to pay the balance from her tuition, but she is a smart girl and really desires to study. We're also planning to support these children's needs for school (such as providing school supplies). Please do pray for that scholarship program, because we still need to raise financial support to do that.
I was so inspired when I recently watched "We Day". We Day is an initiative of Free the Children. If you aren't familiar with We Day, it was created by Free The Children to celebrate the power of young people to create positive change. The event brings inspirational speeches and performances to young leaders. Students then bring that energy home to take action on local and international issues all year long. Free The Children's We Day is the celebration, the inspiration and the vehicle for young people to change the world. When I watched the event, I asked myself what should I do to make a difference in the world? Jesus came to earth to show that we can make a difference through Him. I am so thankful to God that He let me know that I can make a difference. After We Day, there was something I couldn't explain weighing on my heart. I'm was thinking of the kids that don't attend school because they don't have money to pay the tuition fee, and kids from some of provinces here in the Philippines walk two or three hours just to go to school. When they get to school, they are so tired, but they do that because they want to learn! I'm thinking about children like them, and I'm asking God what could I do to make a difference in their lives? I pray to God, that He will use me. I cried so much to the Lord, especially when I saw children from different countries who also don't attend school because of their poverty. God put something in my heart - that I have the freedom to make a difference in this world! I believe that God will use me to make a difference, I will shout freedom to free the children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How Great Is our God!!!!! Praise God! This month God answered our prayers about the health of our students and God used some professionals to help. Last October 19, 2010, a doctor volunteered to give our students a check-up, and we gave some vitamins and cough medicine for the kids. I was so amazed by what God did in our ministry. Also, this last October 22, one of the Canadian missionaries here named Justin Eisinga had his sister visit us. She ran a health seminar for the parents of our students so they could know how to better protect the health of their kids. She gave us some tips on how to clean wounds and on first aid. It was great to have a seminar for the mothers, and it will help us so much! Thank you for all your prayers about our daycare ministry!
Last October 26, I took my midterm exam for seminary and I got the result on November 9. I got 94%. Praise God!!!!! I thank God that He brought me to school and I'm learning so much. I can't believe that I'm in Bible School now! When I accepted God, this is what I asked of Him. I told him that I want to go to Bible School, and now God answered my prayer. Even though there are times when I need some things like books and tuition, and I don't have work to raise money, but I have God to provide for everything I need. One reason that I want to go to school is so i will know God more, and I want to study for my ministry. Please continue to pray for my school. I appreciate your help and prayers. May God bless you!

Like mother, Like daughter!! :)
Hi! Here are some pictures of my daughter. She just finished her school at that time, and that was a Monday. Every Monday we have our bonding time. Sometimes we cook some snacks for the two of us, and we sing together. I play the guitar and she is the singer! It was so good to have a bonding with my daughter. Sometimes she wants me to tell her a story about daycare because she wants to know what I teach to my students in daycare. She was teaching me a song about our lesson, and sometimes she asks me what our topic is for the month and she'll do a song about our topic. I'm so thankful to God that He gave a daughter like her to me. I am so blessed to have her, and she is so gifted in music and she has matured in her thinking. She loves to take pictures and she loves dogs. One of our pastors has a dog, and when the dog was sick my pastor asked me to bring the dog to CJ to help the dog get better since CJ knows how to take care of a dog, and she's a dog lover!:) Now the dog feels much better and my pastor has the dog back in their house, but Cj always wants to visit the dog and play with him. I also posted some pictures from my school. I just finished my midterm in Old Testament survey. It was good - it's like testing your relationship with God. The questions were few but the answers were very long! I thank God for letting me go to school and know Him more.
Thank you so much for reading my blog! Please join me in prayer regarding my daughter CJ, my ministries, and my school. Take care and God bless!

Daycare Field Trip!!
Hi there!
I'd love to share about our daycare field trip on August 7th, 2010. It was so great to see the kids having fun with their teachers. As a teacher, when you see the smiles on the faces of your students, you feel that they love what you'rer doing for them. I am so glad to have students like them because they love to learn so much in daycare, and I saw that in our trip! On the field trip, we went first to Museum Pambata (a museum for kids) where they learned the history of the Philippines. They loved to see everything in the museum, and we saw the many kinds of jobs that they could have in their life someday. Actually, many of them they want to be like teacher Tintin, teacher Toph and Teacher John. In short, they want to be teachers like us, :). It's good to hear that your students, when they look upon you, they're really influenced by you, and they learn from us! They know about how different countries wanted to conquer the Philippines, and they love to see and to know the history of their own country. We also took the children to Manila Ocean Park. It's like a big aquarium! In daycare, sometimes we play a shark game where the teacher is a shark and all the students are small fish that need to swim away from the shark. The kids love the game, especially when we do some sounds effect on the guitar if the shark is coming. In our trip they saw the real fish and real shark in Manila Ocean Park. They didn't know what to say when they saw that! They couldn't believe they saw the real shark!!! It was so good to have a field trip with the daycare kids! After the aquarium, we went to Jollibee's Restaurant for our lunch. They looked so tired, but they enjoyed the food!!! Thank you for all of your prayers for our students and for our ministry. We believe that someday these students will grow up from street kids to become leaders of the whole world! Continue to pray for this ministry, for our students and for their families. Thank you for all of your prayers!

A Day in My Life...
Hi! I'm Tin Tin Ramos and I'm 19 years old. I live in Makati, Philippines and I am a full-time worker in our church. I've been serving for two years now. I'm happy to serve God, even though there are many trials. As a single mom with my 5-year old daughter, at many times I feel tired or that I would want to give up, but God is so amazing and true to his promises. He will never leave you nor forsake you. That's why I'm really, really amazed by God. God always comforts me. Sometimes I experience not being able to eat because I have no money to buy food. When I experience that, I just pray to God that even though I'm not eating I will continue to serve him. When I accepted Christ, I said to myself that I would surrender all my life to him.
One of my roles in the church is being the secretary. I'm also on the worship team, playing guitar and keyboard. On weekdays, I'm a teacher in our daycare ministry for street children. Being a teacher, at first I didn't know what I'm going to teach them and I don't know how to teach. But God put me here in this ministry. It's exciting for me because even though I don't have any training as a teacher, I saw the needs of our students. They need love from God and from us. We teach basics such as drawing lines and learning the alphabet, and I love teaching them!
I have a student named Bernadeth Delima. She has a physical disability, as her back bone broke when she was just 5-months old. Her dad is a pedicab driver (he drives people around on his bicycle with a side-cab attached). Her mom has no work and is just at home. Bernadeth is very funny and she always wants to dance to the song "Baby" by Justin Beiber. She's also an attention-seeker. I recently decided to make a feeding program for her to maintain her health, because she is a malnourished child.
I'm now also studying part-time in bible college in my first year. I'm taking Old and New Testament survey courses. I've learned so much. It's helping for me to share the word of God, and I'm learning about the life of Jesus. I can always say that God is amazing for what he did for us. He saved us from our sin. Christ's life is our ransom, and so it's our joy to just worship and serve him. And I will serve and worship God for the rest of my life.
This is my daughter CJ (pics below). She's 5 yrs old and she's going to school in kindergarten. She likes to read and write and to do her homework on her own. She's really matured, and she loves Spongebob :). Many times she's asking me about her dad, and I don't know what I'm going to tell her. I can't explain everything to her, as it's hard to explain my life before I became a christian. I told her that I love her so much and God loves her so much. It's hard to be a single mom because I don't have any work to give her a good life. But I know the Lord will provide, and he will be the father of my daughter. I always cry to the Lord, because I think about where I'm going to get money for CJ's tuition and her food for her school everyday. We stay with my parents and sometimes they help me to provide CJ's food. I know God will be with my daughter and I, and I know God will provide for us.
Please pray for me, my daughter, and for my ministries. That God will use me more for my students and for their family. Please also pray for my school - for my tuition and for my books that I need to buy, and for my financial situation. Thank you!

blackboard
It was so good to have a blackboard like this!Last June 11, 2010 we started to make a Blackboard that can be used for teaching. Truly without the help of those people who commit their time and gave their efforts this project will not be able to accomplish.
We are happy to see the kids learn because of the blessing of the Lord.We are so happy in this ministry even the other people didn't see the miracles of God, we are the witness that God is always there to provide everything we need, just continue to believe that our God is always there for us! be Blessed to this Kids! Preparation for Daycare
It was so good to do some preparations for the workbooks of our students. We decided to teach how to write vertical lines first. It was so exciting, because we have lots of students now. We have 14 students! We were all ready to start daycare today, and I'm the one who would teach Lesson 1. I'm enjoying teaching the children because God is so amazing. His love is extravagant! Especially for the children, because He didn't forsake them but He provided all the materials they needed like food, teaching materials, and the facilities, plus we are already have a blackboard. I'm so happy to be a teacher with these faithful kids. I want to share with them the love of Jesus. Let's continue to look forward to what the Lord has already prepared in the lives of these kids. Always HAPPY TO SERVE!!!!!!!
